Scaling
high-impact
solutions
for the Amazon
Why
The Amazon still faces illegal logging and deforestation activities that challenge its existence. If no action is taken, the Amazon will pass its tipping-point, with harsh consequences for the environment and economies worldwide.
How
Building an ecosystem of trusted and influential network partners who are dedicated to supporting and growing conservation-based solutions that have proven to be successful in their efforts.
What
Scaling-up conservation-based solutions proven to preserve the Amazon rainforest by providing financial support to local projects that are led by Indigenous people.
The Amazon has already lost
20% of total forest cover
to illegal logging and deforestation.
And is losing
1.6 km2 of forest
per hour
Did you know...
In Brazil, 90% of all logging and deforestation in the Amazon rainforest is illegal?
The solution is clear:
Rewilding the planet.
By bringing together expertise, resources, and drive, we strengthen the impact of conservation-based efforts on the ground. On the frontlines, impactful solutions are led by local people who need our support to scale-up their effectiveness.
“You do not have to be in the forest to join the fight.”
Be part of something bigger and make a direct (proven) impact in the Amazon rainforest.
Everything we do as a collective network is to increase the impact of protecting more land by supporting (scientifically) proven conservation-based solutions. When you join our network, you protect the world's most important ecological regions by increasing conservation efforts from our mission partner.
Our mission partner
Treesistance is a movement and impact blueprint centred on the protection of the Amazon rainforest working at the intersection where Indigenous knowledge and science meet.
Their current impact covers an area of 1,500 km2 and aims to protect 2,750 km2 of tropical rainforest this year through collective efforts led by indigenous communities. Conservation-based solutions include land demarcation, the provision of advanced technology and access to justice to local forest defenders. All efforts are non-violent and scientifically proven models that reduce illegal activities in their demarcated and legally recognised Indigenous areas.
